Frantzchesca (Fran) Decade, DNP, FNP-BC is a Family Nurse Practitioner with our Stony Brook Bariatric and Weight Loss Center. As a Nurse Practitioner, Frantzchesca (Fran) works alongside our bariatric surgeons to provide care for patients enrolled in our weight loss program for surgical intervention, both in the pre-operative phase and long-term post-operatively. In addition, she works closely with patients interested in medical weight loss via pharmacotherapy or other lifestyle means. Fran completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida. She then graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Fran is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, New York State Nurse Practitioner Association, and an affiliate member of the Society for the Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). Justine Tuttle, PA-C is a Physician Assistant with our Stony Brook Bariatric and Weight Loss Center. Justine is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Justine has been practicing since 2013 and received her Master’s degree from Touro College. At the Bariatric and Metabolic Weight Loss Center, she works alongside our bariatric surgeons and other team members to guide individuals throughout their weight loss journey both in the pre-operative phase and long-term post-operatively. Along with direct patient care, Justine is also the Program Coordinator for the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Bariatric Surgery program. |

Amy Eimer, FNP-C, MS is a Family Nurse Practitioner within the Stony Brook Bariatric and Weight Loss Center. Amy is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the New York State Nurse Practitioners Association. Amy received her bachelor's degree in nursing at Columbia University and her master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner Studies at Stony Brook University. She additionally has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in clinical nutrition. Amy works alongside our bariatric surgeons and multidisciplinary team to help patients in their weight loss journey, whether it be through surgical intervention or pharmacologic methods. Her compassionate approach to healthcare is evident in her interactions with patients, as she strives to create a supportive and nurturing environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and valued. Amy's dedication to ongoing education and staying abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare ensures that her patients receive the highest quality of care possible. |
