Ada Lee, DO serves as the Pediatric Medical Advisor for the Bariatric and Metabolic Weight Loss Center. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor who practices in the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Dr. Lee earned her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. She went on to pursue and complete her Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology. She also serves on the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) Technology Committee.
One of her interests is in childhood and adolescent obesity prevention and management. She believes that building strong relationships between physicians, patients, and their family is integral to the success of weight management. She strives to provide the best family oriented medical care to her patients to optimize their health.
