Some patients (approximately 15 to 20 percent) with a previous weight loss surgery have significant weight regain. Our experienced surgeons are skilled in the evaluation of individuals with prior bariatric surgery. For some patients, revisional bariatric surgery may be needed for health improvement. For others, a medically supervised weight loss program may be appropriate.

There are many options for managing weight regain after surgery. A comprehensive assessment will be completed by our team, with an individualized treatment plan developed and discussed with the patient. Surgery, if indicated, is tailored to specific medical needs and outcomes.
